Jan 07, 2013- The Canadian Active After School Partnership (CAASP) is a collaborative of five national organizations designed to enhance the delivery of quality active after school programs, with the ultimate goal of increasing physical activity and healthy eating practices to improve the health of Canada’s children and youth. CAASP was established in 2010 with support from the Public Health Agency of Canada, and funds have been confirmed until 2014. For more information visit www.activeafterschool.ca.
CAASP activities in 2012-2014 include a project entitled Promoting Mental Health Through Active After School Programs.
At this time we are seeking individuals with the necessary experience to lead project activities starting in mid to late January 2013 until March 2014 (with the bulk of the work happening February 2013 – November 2013).
Specific details concerning deliverables, timelines, and funding will be available in early January 2013.
