CAAWS salutes work being done to make sport more welcoming to those who are LGBTQ and announces the development of a coaching resource in partnership with Coaches of Canada and AthletesCan
CAAWS is proud to announce it’s partnership with Hockey Night in Canada’s Play On!. The goal is to encourage women and girls’ participation and their involvement in leadership roles (i.e. coaching, officiating, administration and volunteering).
We will be at the PARC Symposium in Toronto. Be sure to stop by to learn about our newest project; the healthy living experiences of girls and young women from diverse ethnic communities.

CAAWS is working with the Ottawa Senators to promote a Women in Sport night on April 18th for the Senators vs Washington Capitals hockey game.
