Motivate Canada Welcomes Katharine Hare

Motivate Canada

OTTAWA – Motivate Canada is very pleased to announce that Katharine Hare has joined their team to lead a new initiative in partnership with the Aboriginal Sport Circle. Effective October 29, 2007, Katharine will be working with a coalition of organizations to develop a national coordinated approach to Aboriginal community programming focusing on youth development through physical activity.

"We are very excited to have Katharine joining our team. With many years experience in financial and organizational management coupled with a strong understanding of partnership development and program management, Katharine will provide the leadership needed to see this new initiative forward, " said Don Adams, Chief Executive Officer of Motivate Canada.

Ms. Hare joins Motivate Canada from Commonwealth Games Canada where she was the Director of International Programs responsible for the management of their International Development through Sport initiatives in Africa and the Caribbean. A graduate of the University of Ottawa Business Administration, she spent 18 years working as a self employed financial administrator providing financial management services to a number of National Sports Organizations, lawyers and not for profit associations.
