On behalf of the Women's Sledge Hockey Team, I would like
to thank you for your financial contribution to our team.
The WISE Fund grant was used to assist in transportation costs
for our players. Your support of our trip to Marlborough,
Mass. to attend and participate in the World Festival of Disabled
Hockey is greatly appreciated. Two games were played with
the US Women's team and each team returned home with a win
for their country. This event provided an opportunity to expose
women's sledge hockey internationally. There were 9 countries
represented in the men's program so exposing them to the women's
program will encourage other countries to develop future Paralympics
programs for women. A most sincere thank-you on behalf of
the players and team coach.
