Honoring the Legacy
by M. Ann Hall and Gertrud Pfister
Honoring the Legacy is the story of the past fifty years,
and the many remarkable women who have contributed to the
International Association of Physical Education and Sport
for Girls and Women (IAPESGW).
Founded in 1949, the IAPESGW supports its members working
for girls' and women's sport and physical education, and provides
opportunities for professional development and international
cooperation.
IAPESGW, which has members in all five continents and more
than 40 countries, holds scientific congresses every four
years.
