the Legacy is the
story of the past fifty years, and the many
remarkable women who have contributed to the
International Association of Physical Education
and Sport for Girls and Women (IAPESGW).
Founded
in 1949, the IAPESGW supports its members
working for girls' and women's sport and
physical education, and provides opportunities
for professional development and international
cooperation.
IAPESGW,
which has members in all five continents
and more than 40 countries, holds scientific
congresses every four years.
