Tell Us Your Story

Dear CAAWS,

In my letter to you dated November 29, 2002, I stated that I recently coached a junior girls soccer team at Winchester Public School in Brooklin, Ontario where I teach. The girls I coached were of various abilities, but what made my team successful was the great bunch of young ladies that I was able to work with. They had excellent sportsmanship and very positive attitudes. In my letter, I also mentioned that the girls had to play soccer with plastic soccer balls that were falling apart and made it difficult to practice properly. I was surprised and very pleased to then receive your parcel on January 7th which contained brand new Nike soccer balls! The Nike soccer balls are simply awesome! They will certainly make the girls feel that they are valued as athletes at the school. Schools find it very difficult to purchase professional equipment due to limited budgets for athletics. Thank you for helping us out!

Sincerely,

Diane Martin
