Hoskinson, owner of a 1996 Subaru Impreza RS 2.5 is returning this year for a comprehensive racing season and is kicking off the season with big ‘blonde’ ambitions. Hoskinson will be testing her Impreza at the Rallye Sanair. The car had an impressive 2003 season, first winning the SCCA Northeast Division Production GT Championship where it was driven by New Yorker, Eugene Michniuk. Hoskinson then brought it to Canada in November for the Rally of the Tall Pines, where she clinched two championship titles in the CARS Ontario Division.

Says Hoskinson; “I am very impressed with the whole team at Lachute Performance. They are all very talented professionals, very enthusiastic, and dedicated to the sport of Rally Racing. It is wonderful to have such a great team of people to work with.”

Rallye Sanair is an annual event in the St-Haycinthe Region, Quebec. The event takes place over 2 days. On Saturday, April 24th, the performance rally takes place. This event is part of the Quebec Cup Championship. The following day, Sunday April 25th, is the rally cross. (www.rallyesanair.ca)

This 2004 season promises to be full of new challenges for Hoskinson and will be a transition year for Joan and her co-driver, Laurence-Fanny L’Estage. Although L’Estage will be co-driving for her father Jacques L’Estage at Sanair, they will reunite for the Rocky Mountain Rally in Calgary, and both women have the desire and the drive to finish at the top this season. Whatever the outcome of the tests at Sanair, the spectacle of this female team is not to be missed.
