(located in Gimli, Manitoba) will be participating in a

physical activity and its link to self-esteem.
This
day provides an opportunity for girls from grade 8 to 12
to feel good about themselves and the relationships in their
lives. There will be chances to listen and participate with
female role models.
The
day starts out with motivational speaker and Olympic Weight
Lifter Susanne Dandenault. Other women from the community
are also invited to attend and be inspired at this keynote
address. From there the students break out into sessions
they are interested in exploring including kickboxing, latin
and swing dance, hip hop dance, self-defense and healthy
relationships, yoga, cosmetics and fashion. The day concludes
with guest speaker Joan Hreno and the topic "Making
Choices."
