Selects Basketball Club
The Winnipeg Selects is a unique ,year-round
program which offers not only advanced basketball training,
but also provides our girls with significant additional
activities,including academic and cultural experiences.
Our club is sanctioned by Basketball Manitoba.
Field Hockey Manitoba
Field Hockey Manitoba is recruiting girls and women of all
ages to participate in their local and provincial programs.
They can start as young as 7 years old. We offer outdoor
(april to july) and indoor programs (october to march).
Teams participate in local league games, local and out of
province tournaments, national championships (under 16,
under 18, under 21 and seniors), University championships
and Canada Summer Games. Free school clinics are offered
for all the province. Coaching and umpiring training courses

Triathlon
is equally appealing to both men and women (or boys and
girls). We have more girls than boys on our Junior Development
Team, and three of the four coaches are women. Gender participation
in our Kids Of Steel program (for younger kids) is close
to 50/50.
