Aug 5, 2010 - Tewksbury ’s authenticity makes him a great choice. He’s an athlete who used his heart to get him where nobody thought he had a chance to go — the top of an Olympic podium in the men’s 100-metre backstroke in 1992.
There will be many Canadian athletes in London in a very similar position to that of Tewksbury in Barcelona . They will be in the mix with medal potential, but they’ll be far from favourites.
