SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING

June 2004
Synchro Canada

Pre-Olympic Tour gets underway

The Canadian Synchronized Swimming Team is on the road to Athens with a six-city Olympic tour.

Canada’s Olympic team will be making stops in Regina, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Prince Edward Island and Montreal.

The Canadian team will be performing in a water show in each city as well as taking part in interactive sessions with local swimmers.

“We are very excited about the tour,” said Isabelle Taillon, head coach for the Olympic team. “We think it’s a great opportunity for the team and for people across the country to see our routines before heading to Athens.”

The tour will allow Canada to perfect its team and duet performances as it prepares for a podium finish in Athens.

Media availability will be made at every stop.
