sports stage in the world. At 57, the trap shooter is gearing up for
her sixth (and in all respects, final) Olympic Games. It has been

Jujie Luan, a 50-year-old mother of three and fencing coach
who lives in Edmonton, has returned as an athlete to the international
stage. In late March, Luan officially met the Olympic qualifying standards
set by fencing’s governing body, the Federation Internationale
D’Escrime (FIE), and has qualified for the women’s “foil”
