Thankfully, sport is also a powerful venue through which these inequalities can be resisted, and re-examined. It is up to us, as athletes, coaches, academics and administrators to decide what kind of sport, and what kind of world, we want to be part of, and to make our local and national sporting spaces a reflection of that dream."
