CAAWS is pleased to have received support for pilot projects
from the Sport for More Program of the Ontario Ministry of
Health Promotion and Sport; the Healthy Communities Fund of
the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport; and the
Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Sport for More Program - Ontario Ministry
of Health Promotion and Sport (2010-2011)
These projects focused on increasing sport and physical activity
for Women 55-70+ took place between May 2010 and March 2011.
They were made possible through a grant from the Sport for
More Program of the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion and

Healthy Communities Fund - Ontario
Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport (2011-2012)
These projects are focused on empowering women 55-70+ to
create and lead sport and physical activity programs for themselves
and their peers. These projects are taking place between June
2011 and March 2012 and were made possible through a grant
from the Healthy Communities Fund of the Ontario Ministry
