CAAWS is looking for sites in Ontario to host a one-day workshop focused on building a foundation of physical literacy for women 55-70+.

During this FREE workshop (with lunch provided) participants:

  • Learn what motivates women 55-70+ to be active
  • Better understand what helps build confidence/competence in physical activity and sport for women 55-70+
  • Receive certification in NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS)
  • Learn FMS adaptations/considerations for women 55-70+
  • Learn about how incorporating FMS can increase physical literacy for women 55-70+

Host Site Responsibilities:

    • Provide CAAWS with venue ideas to run the workshop
    • Provide CAAWS with catering ideas for refreshments and lunch
    • Advertise and promote the workshop throughout their networks

CAAWS Responsibilities:

    • Deliver the workshop
    • Provide all training tools and materials
    • Provide lunch and refreshments
    • Cover the cost of room rental (if needed)
