Warmest Wishes for the Holiday Season!

Ottawa Lunch & Learn
Last month, CAAWS and CAC unveiled the Female Coach Mentorship Model to a full house at our Ottawa Lunch and Learn event on November 28th! The event provided an opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues, engage in thoughtful discussion about expanding leadership opportunities for women in sport, and take an in-depth look at the Female Coach Mentorship Model.
Thank you to our special guests - The Honourable Kent Hehr, Isabelle Cayer, and Tamara Medwidsky - for making this an event to remember!
Ending Harassment and Abuse in Canadian Sport
The recent allegations of harassment against Gregg Zaun at Sportsnet are reverberating throughout Canadian sport. Harassment and abuse have no place in the sport system, but it will continue to occur in the absence of proactive measures to prevent and address it.

Be part of changing this picture. For background and solutions to this issue, we encourage you to read the blog series on harassment and bullying created in collaboration by CAAWS, the Coaching Association of Canada, the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Sport, and the Sport Law & Strategy Group.
